Details: The 2022 Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 is a versatile performance/gaming full-size laptop and one of the better-value options in its class, as well as a fairly compact and lightweight product for what it is. In our tests, it performed a little faster than the larger 2022 Scar 17, and significantly faster than the previous 2021 generation based on AMD hardware, thanks to the updated hardware and the implementation of a MUX. On the other hand, the components still run hot inside on the stock Turbo mode, especially on the GPU side now, the efficiency of the Intel Alder Lake platform leaves to desire, and there are still some ergonomic quirks that you’ll have to accept if you’ll decide on one of these.
